Education, Rehabilitation, Inclusion, and Support for Empowerment

Description

This project, co-funded by a grant from the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS), aims to provide critical emergency support to the education sector in Lebanon.
CISP implements rehabilitation and maintenance works in six public schools to ensure their full and proper operation, including improved infrastructural integrity, upgraded WaSH services and enhanced accessibility.

OBJECTIVES

Promotion of inclusive educational pathways for children (both Lebanese and refugees) through a holistic approach that supports their psychosocial well-being and fosters a safe and protective environment at the family and community levels.

The 6 schools and learning centers will undergo rehabilitation works, including construction of classrooms, inclusive and accessible WASH facilities, and the installation of ramps and other infrastructure improvements to ensure barrier-free access, as well as further essential school services for children with disabilities and mobility challenges.
