On February 7, 2026, the First Members' Assembly of CISP Sviluppo dei Popoli, a Participatory Foundation, was held in Rome. This was the organization's first major event since its transformation into a Participatory Foundation.
It was an intense day of discussion, decision-making, and strategic vision, bringing together founding and promoting members to address the challenges of international cooperation in a global context marked by conflict, inequality, and the crisis of the multilateral system.
During the meeting, the Assembly of Promoting Members was officially established.

The International Conference on Agrarian Reform and Rural Development (ICARRD) is a multilateral global forum dedicated to promoting land rights, rural justice, and sustainable development. Its inaugural edition, held in Porto Alegre, Brazil, in 2006, marked a turning point in the international debate on agrarian and rural policies.
Twenty years later, ICARRD+20 will take place from February 24 to 28, 2026, in Cartagena, Colombia.
CISP participates as the implementing partner of the Agrocadenas project, funded by the Colombian Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS).

On March 26, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, the Giorgio Prodi Hall at the University of Bologna will host jurists, institutions, and Sahrawi representatives to discuss EU-Morocco agreements and the role of civil society in a debate focused on international law and European responsibilities.
The event is organized by the Department of Political Science at the University of Bologna and CISP, in collaboration with the Emilia-Romagna Region, the Municipality of Albinea, and the associations Rete Saharawi, Nexus Emilia-Romagna, Kabara Lagdaf, and Rete Tifariti. The objective of this public lecture is to engage citizens in reflecting on a crucial point: Europe’s responsibility in finalizing trade deals without the consent of a people whose resources are being exploited in illegally occupied territory.
